We recognize that EV charger installations require coordination across multiple organizations, which may be impacted by closures or reduced capacity due to COVID-19 concerns. If you anticipate delays beyond your project’s expiration date due to these issues, please contact us. Extensions will be granted on a case by case basis.

How can I determine if my equipment is eligible?

EV charging manufacturers and service providers are encouraged to add their equipment to our equipment database for verification and potential approval for CALeVIP incentive projects. If you are a registered CALeVIP user, log in and from your user dashboard, click the Add Equipment button. Complete the Add Equipment form for all your equipment. If you do not already have an account, please create an account and sign up as an equipment manufacturer or EV service provider. After creating the account, it may take several business days to verify your organization as an equipment manufacturer or service provider. Once you are verified, follow the previously described steps to add equipment.

Project staff will review your submission and determine equipment eligibility for all available incentive projects, notify the manufacturer contact and update the applicable incentive project equipment eligibility lists.
